how my approach to hypnotherapy helps

My approach to hypnotherapy is not about stage tricks or clichéd “look into my eyes” scripts. It’s about creating a calm, focused state where we can work directly with your subconscious — the place where your automatic reactions and long-held associations live.

Together, we’ll use a blend of deep relaxation, guided visualisation, and conversational insight to gently bypass the mental chatter and connect with the part of you that’s ready for change. We might work on rewiring a fear response, breaking the emotional link to a habit, or shifting the internal story you’ve been carrying about yourself. For some people, that might mean dissolving the mental block that’s been fuelling procrastination. For others, it might mean letting go of an old emotional wound so they can feel lighter and more present.

Because I also integrate elements of NLP and my background in counselling and coaching, our sessions won’t just be about what happens in trance. We’ll connect the shifts you make in the subconscious to practical steps you can take in your day-to-day life, so the changes stick.

what to expect

A hypnotherapy session with me is more like a purposeful guided meditation than anything dramatic or intimidating. You remain fully in control, aware of your surroundings, and able to pause or stop at any time. My role is to create the right conditions for your mind to access the resources it already has — but may have been buried under stress, fear, or habit.

Sessions are paced to suit your comfort. Some people notice a shift after a single session, while others find deeper, lasting change through a structured package. I offer bespoke hypnotherapy for a range of challenges, including anxiety, emotional eating, smoking cessation, sleep issues, performance confidence, and ADHD-related difficulties like focus and emotional regulation.
